Welcome, Mauro Krichel!

We are very pleased to welcome Mauro Krichel as our new Lead Engineer in the EC&I department as of 1 July 2024. With his extensive experience in electrical instrumentation and control technology, he is a great support for our team.

Mr Krichel chose Doosan Lentjes for good reasons: „The technical challenges at Doosan Lentjes and the complex systems in the field of electrical instrumentation and control technology offer me the opportunity to contribute and further develop my skills. I am particularly motivated by the goal of creating solutions that are relevant in the long term and that make a real difference.” He also likes the opportunity to actively shape the generational change in our tradition-rich company.

In his new role, Mauro Krichel is responsible for the planning and delivery of hardware and software components. These include transformers, switchgear, drive technology and cooperation with DCS suppliers for machine control and visualisation. Hardware and software documentation and safety documentation are also an essential part of his work.

His previous positions, in particular as a specialist project manager in the field of electrical, instrumentation and control engineering in plant construction, have prepared him very well for these tasks. „My previous tasks were very similar to those at Doosan Lentjes. A slightly different focus resulted from the fact that electrical design and PLC/HMI programming were done in-house,“ says Mauro Krichel. In addition, as team leader, he was responsible for the further development of execution processes.

Mr Krichel’s first impressions of Doosan Lentjes are consistently positive: „I am particularly impressed by the commitment of my colleagues. This positive attitude is contagious.“ In his free time, Mauro Krichel loves spending time with his family and can often be found with his three children in the natural surroundings around Mettmann. Striking a balance between work and family is particularly important to him, which is why he starts early in the day to have plenty of time with his family in the afternoons.
