Welcome to our blog! In this article, we would like to tell you about our #OneLentjes initiative, which aims to strengthen internal networking and improve the onboarding of new colleagues.
#OneLentjes – A forum for informal exchange and networking
The #OneLentjes are not intended as traditional meetings – rather, they are a lively platform for informal and relaxed dialogue across departmental boundaries. Whether you come from Engineering, Proposal, Product Management, IT or QHSE – everyone is welcome at #OneLentjes.
A look back: #OneLentjes St Nicholas breakfast and November gathering
Before the well-deserved Christmas holidays (we have company holidays between the years 😉), we met for a cosy #OneLentjes St Nicholas breakfast on 6 December. Many of our colleagues brought something tasty with them and so we took the opportunity to get to know each other away from the day-to-day business with dimmed lights and beautiful Christmas music – a harmonious get-together with many colleagues from a wide variety of departments.
While the first meeting had taken place in mid-October, we got together for the second time just a few weeks later. Among other things, we discussed current internal developments and upcoming projects – an informal dialogue that contributed to a better understanding of each other.
#OneLentjes – deliberately informal
The #OneLentjes are deliberately informal. There is no agenda or minutes. Instead, we offer space for dialogue, getting to know each other and support in onboarding new colleagues. At each meeting, we collect topics that are on our minds and thus create the basis for further in-depth dialogue.
Outlook for the coming year – #OneLentjes for everyone, everywhere
In principle, the #OneLentjes are intended as face-to-face events. However, in order to enable colleagues at other locations to participate, we are planning regular hybrid or purely digital gatherings in the new year. We want to develop the #OneLentjes further and make them what they should be: A door opener that makes work easier for all of us.
