Boiler & Combustion department has a new colleague
On 11 September, our new colleague Christian Schwerdtner joined us in the Boiler/Combustion department as a design engineer, where he works on the combustion grates of our Waste-to-Energy plants. Christian is 25 years old and comes from Ratingen, Germany. In 2020, he completed his training as a technical product designer and has since been doing further training as a mechanical engineering technician in evening school, which he expects to complete at the end of May next year (we’re keeping our fingers crossed for that, of course! 😉)
“I can put my knowledge from the mechanical engineering technician to good use directly at Doosan Lentjes,” Christian is pleased to say. “Here I not only work with indispensable technologies, but also on forward-looking projects that I can grow with personally and professionally”.
Even though he has only been with us for a few days, there is one thing he can already say very clearly: “The colleagues are very friendly and helpful and the working environment is great – I really like it!”
