Process Engineer (m/w/d)

− Location: Katowice, Poland

Your Tasks

  • Independent, qualified evaluation of customer requirements and development of process concepts for thermal recycling plants
  • Definition of the technical concept
  • Thermal and process engineering design
  • Participation in design and warranty reviews
  • Support and supervision during order processing incl. commissioning
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of design and standard templates
  • Safeguarding of know-how through evaluation of operating results after order processing

Qualification

Completed technical university studies, preferably process engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering or comparable course of studies

Professional knowledge

  • Several years of professional experience in the design of boiler systems
  • Knowledge of using Power Plant Simulator and Design Tool (PPSD) desirable
  • Knowledge in handling process and P&I flow diagrams according to ISO and DIN
  • Preparation of operating manuals
  • Familiar with hazard analyses and safety classes
  • Use of Windows applications especially Excel with VBA knowledge
  • Good understanding/knowledge regarding contract related matters looking at project status/progress and potential impact to the department

Special competencies

Confident appearance; conscientious and independent completion of tasks; high personal commitment, basic willingness to travel, business fluent English language skills; team work
