Read more…On 11 September, we were pleased to welcome our new colleague, Uwe Lutz, who will be supporting the process engineering department as a project engineer from now on. Uwe has 30 years of experience in the industry and will be responsible for the process engineering of the flue gas cleaning and its components downstream of the waste boiler. This includes, among other things, basic and detail engineering as well as the preparation of process and P&I flow diagrams.
Read more…On 11 September, our new colleague Christian Schwerdtner joined us in the Boiler/Combustion department as a design engineer, where he works on the combustion grates of our Waste-to-Energy plants. Christian is 25 years old and comes from Ratingen, Germany.
Read more…My history at Doosan Lentjes began in July 2021, after having worked as a site supervisor on various projects in the oil & gas and energy sectors. During this time I gained in-depth experience in site management and execution. At Doosan, I was able to start out in the erection planning for the Dinslaken wood-fired power plant project and apply my expertise accordingly.
Read more…On Tuesday, 26 September 2023, Philipp Stolzenburg from Sales and I (Marketing) went to our construction site in Wiesbaden, where a modern waste-to-energy plant is currently being built. There, the main focus was to discuss possible on-site customer visits with our colleagues and to consider which local measures we can implement to improve the visibility of our activities.

Read more…My story at Doosan Lentjes started in 2007 as my first job after graduation. Beginning as a Process Engineer, I have gained experience in many functions and departments, such as Project Manager, Engineer Research and Development (R&D) and currently as Product Manager for Waste-to-Energy.

A nice start for this is the ongoing WtE project in Wiesbaden, which I am in charge of for the field of assembly.
I became aware of Doosan Lentjes through a supplier and applied. Fortunately, a role opened up as Engineering Manager in the WtE Wiesbaden project. I have been working in this role since September 2021.

Read more…After completing my PhD in heat and mass transfer about ten years ago, I joined Doosan Lentjes. Currently, I am working in process engineering, where I spend a lot of my time developing calculation programs.
Some time ago, I wanted to spend more time on construction sites. For me, it was the first real experience on a distant construction site in Sodegaura (Japan), where a 70MWe CFB (circulating fluidised bed) plant is currently being commissioned.
A construction site right around the corner – if that doesn’t invite you to go on an excursion together! And so, in June 2022, almost 30 colleagues armed with personal protective equipment (PPE) set off in the direction of Dinslaken to visit the construction site of the new wood-fired power plant together.
