Summer party at Doosan Lentjes

On Thursday 29 August, the time had finally come again: we gathered in the courtyard for this year’s summer party in perfect weather. Our accounting colleagues from Radebeul had also travelled here and we were also able to welcome a few colleagues from Prague and Katowice. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other better and to welcome the many new colleagues who have joined us in recent weeks. It was particularly lovely that Linda Azmee, who is currently on parental leave, visited us at the summer party with her daughter and husband.

One of the highlights was honouring the three winners of our betting game, which the management had organised as part of the European Men’s Championships. Colleagues Tomas Avakian, Dr Ferdinand Krüll and Kisoon Park proved to have the best instincts and secured the top three places. Dirk Stokvis ceremoniously presented them with symbolic cheques showing the winning budgets, which Doosan Lentjes will donate to non-profit, non-political organisations of their choice.

In culinary terms, too, the summer party was all about the European Championships: delicious specialities from the Iberian peninsula were served in keeping with this year’s winning country, Spain.

It was an all-round successful evening that showed once again that we are a great team!
