Director Sales

Dr. Thorsten Becker graduated from the University of Aachen in the year 2002 with a PhD in mechanical engineering. After working as a management consultant for clients from a number of different sectors, he started his career dedicated to both sales and business strategy in the process industry. His responsibilities included global sales of rotating equipment for petrochemical applications. In 2016, Thorsten joined Doosan Lentjes as Director Sales for all the company’s three product lines.

Experience and flexibility help us to be ready for the future

Doosan Lentjes is a tradition-rich engineering company with proprietary technologies across circulating fluidised bed (CFB) boilers, waste-to-energy (WtE) and air quality control systems (AQCS). As the global centre of competence for these technologies within our parent company, Doosan Heavy Industries (DHI), we have our own R&D capabilities allowing us to flexibly adapt to changing market conditions. This enables us to be at the forefront of our industry when it comes to technological advancements helping us to shape a sustainable power generation of tomorrow.

Our clients are the focal point of what we do which is why we put extensive efforts into permanently enhancing our processes and technologies to maximise the customers’ satisfaction. In doing so, our focus is on integrating changing product requirements resulting from new market trends and developments into our modern plant concepts. Of course, in everything we do our aim is always to increase the customer benefit while simultaneously optimising the cost-efficiency of our solutions.

By working closely with qualified international partners, we are in a position to always be where our clients are: Whether in Asia, Middle East, Latin America or Europe – our worldwide (sales) network allows us to act as a global player. This approach makes customers benefit from highest levels of international experience combined with shortest response times and service provisions. In times of increasing global competition, this is part of how we ensure the development of trust and confidence in our capabilities leading to a strong relationship with our customers which has evolved over the long-term.
