Head of Engineering Management (m/f/d)

− Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)

Your Tasks

  • Defining and implementing the strategic and operational direction of the Engineering Management department with the aim of ensuring that projects are processed in line with quality, deadlines and budgets
  • Performing management tasks in accordance with the company’s management mission statement
  • Monitoring and evaluating the qualified processing of department-specific tasks by holding department meetings, participating in reviews, checking selected documents and initiating quality assurance measures as required
  • Ensuring the continuous further development and application as well as maintenance of the existing pool of specialized knowledge (standards, checklists, guidelines, design tools, etc.) and ensuring the application of QM regulations

Your Profile

  • Completed studies, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy plant engineering or environmental engineering
  • Several years of practical experience in the execution of plant engineering projects, relevant international experience desirable
  • Strong understanding of plant engineering
  • Knowledge of business administration
  • Experience in the technical and disciplinary management of employees
  • Solution-orientation & conflict management
  • Willingness to take responsibility & ability to work under pressure
  • Assertiveness and decision-making ability
  • Analytical & structured way of working
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel

Doosan Lentjes offers proprietary environmental technologies for thermal waste and sewage sludge treatment and energy recovery. Our areas of expertise include the combustion of renewable fuels such as waste, sewage sludge and biomass, heat recovery systems and flue gas cleaning equipment. We deliver flexible solutions for long-term waste disposal security and climate-friendly steam and power generation.
