Process engineer specialising in thermal engineering (m/f/d)
− Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)
Your Tasks
- Process development: Further development of processes, systems and components in close coordination with product management.
- Customer requirements: Independent evaluation of customer requirements and development of process concepts for thermal utilisation plants.
- Thermal engineering design: Definition and design of the thermal engineering concept and participation in design and warranty reviews.
- Project support: Support and assistance during order processing as well as maintenance and improvement of design and standard templates.
- Safeguarding expertise: Evaluation of operating results after order processing to safeguard and further develop expertise.
- Documentation: Creation of process and P&I flow charts in accordance with ISO and DIN as well as application of standards, checklists and QM regulations.
- Technical management: Technical guidance of external employees and proactive support of other specialist disciplines.
Your Profile
- Education: Completed technical university degree, preferably in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, energy technology or a comparable degree programme.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in the design of boiler systems.
- Technical knowledge: Experience in using Power Plant Simulator and design tool (PPSD) desirable as well as sound knowledge of Windows applications, especially Excel (incl. VBA).
- Understanding of contractual matters: Good understanding of contract related issues and their impact on projects and departments.
- Personal competences: Conscientious and independent working style, ability to work in a team and a high level of commitment.
- Language skills: Business fluent in German and English.
