As a strategic management tool, the IMS combines methods and tools for complying with requirements in the respective areas into a uniform structure and provides a framework for management decisions.

The process-oriented Integrated Management System is documented in a database that is accessible to all employees. It forms the core of the management system and contains, among other things, the management manual, process descriptions and other relevant documents such as technical instructions and standard templates for key documents.
