From 28 February - 1 March 2024, Doosan Lentjes was a speaker at the 6th J+G Fluidised Bed Workshop in Wiesloch, Baden-Württemberg. The aim of the event was to promote the exchange of experience on bubbling bed and circulating fluidised bed systems. With a total of around 100 participants, many of whom were operators of CFB or sewage sludge incineration plants, the workshop provided a good insight into the market and current requirements.
In his presentation, Doosan Lentjes, represented by CFB product manager Frank Leuschke, emphasised the technology's ability to meet the challenges of the energy transition in the 21st century. ZWS boilers not only offer the highest possible fuel flexibility, they can also be used as part of a carbon capture and storage (CCS) concept and thus make a significant contribution to climate protection.
In addition to varied lectures and presentations, the event provided plenty of time for discussions and the establishment of valuable contacts between plant manufacturers and operators. Doosan Lentjes was delighted to be there, as it was at the last event of this kind in 2019, and to play an active role in shaping the dialogue.
