CEO

Doosan Lentjes’ CEO, Thomas Stetter, graduated from Technical University Hannover in Germany in 1991 with a degree in mechanical engineering. In the same year, Thomas joined Lentjes where he has held several roles encompassing bid management, international licenses & cooperation, global sales, product management roles for incineration, industrial and utility boiler and air pollution control technologies. Looking back on an extensive experience in the global plant construction business spanning more than 25 years, Thomas became Doosan Lentjes’ CEO in May 2016.

Our advanced technologies for a cleaner planet

At Doosan Lentjes, we look back on a long corporate history rich in tradition in which we have developed proprietary technologies for a wide range of applications. As a global Centre of Competence for our three product lines circulating fluidised bed (CFB) boiler, waste-to-energy (WtE) and air quality control systems (AQCS) within the Doosan group, we deliver sustainable power generation solutions shaping a cleaner and greener future.

Full control over manufacturing process

Being part of the global Doosan group opens us doors to global in-house high quality manufacturing workshops such as in Changwon/Korea, Chennai/India and Vina/Vietnam. These large manufacturing capabilities help us provide best practice procurement of goods and services while maintaining and ensuring compliance with all applicable and most stringent laws, regulatory guidelines and international control procedures. Simultaneously, these in-house capabilities enable us to provide better controllability over this part of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) value chain – a critical competitive advantage that sets us apart from our competitors while reliably delivering on our customers’ requirements.

Flexibility meets global EPC approach

Individually or together with our parent company Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction (DHIC), we are in a position to deliver turnkey projects to our customers across the globe making us a reliable one-stop shop providing solutions from one single source. Indeed, thanks to our flexible EPC partnering approach, we can also collaborate with other international, highly competent general contractors – a key advantage showing our talent to adapt to different market requirements.

Our flexibility as a key talent for tomorrow’s challenges

Against the background of the increasing globalisation, our industry is characterised by a strong price-pressure through new Asian competitors requiring us to set us apart by providing high quality solutions with a reduced price level combined with maximised levels of flexibility for our international customers. In order to meet these new challenges, we have developed modular designs for CFB, WtE and AQCS that can be flexibly adapted to individual clients’ needs – a milestone when focusing on competitiveness in the 21st century.
